European Drop-in Replacement for MS Exchange Benefits from Growing Demand in Eastern-Europe
Zarafa signs contract with Polish distributor

March 23, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Zarafa, the European drop-in Microsoft Exchange replacement for email, calendaring, collaboration and tasks, is expanding into Eastern Europe. Now that the latest version of the Zarafa Collaboration Platform also supports languages outside Western Europe, Zarafa can meet the growing demand from Eastern Europe. After the launch of the evaluation version in January, it was downloaded by more than 2000 IT integrators and potential customers in Eastern Europe.

Today, Zarafa will sign a contract with Linux Polska. Darius Swiader, CEO of Linux Polska Sp. z o.o: "This agreement is a milestone in building a complete enterprise open source solutions portfolio for our customers in Poland. We will work together to expand Zarafa's partner network, and provide local support and trainings. I strongly believe that the ecosystem of business partners and customers in Poland will benefit from our cooperation." The promotion of Zarafa in Poland gets a boost today as well. Brian Joseph, CEO of Zarafa, is one of the keynote speakers at the conference 'Open Source Day 2011', besides CEO's of open source companies like Red Hat (Werner Knoblich) and EnterpriseDB (Sean Doherty). The Open Source Day 2011, being held in the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, is especially popular among the top of Polish government organizations.
